Default Need a General Purpose WIK Frozen Soil Support Hero

I am not good with builds, never have been, probably never will be. I am good at reading pvx build and these forums.

I am currently collecting WIK War Supplies and Vabbi Trade Contracts. In both areas, I need to bring along Frozen Soil to prevent foes from resurrecting.

What Frozen Soil build do you use on your hero? How many points do you put into Wilderness Survival? Do you disable all the other skills in order to keep Frozen Soil up as much as possible?

Thanks

...Don't be lazy.

1. Stick it on your SoS/SoGM rit or Paragon/Elementalist.
2. Spec 8.
3. Just micro it, no disabling other skills.

I never had to use a frozen soil hero in my life.
mobs dropped dead before they could even think about ressing.
But if I had to bring it, it would depend on the type of team I run.
Generic caster teams I would put it on my Rits/Nec,
On Physical teams I would take it on my experts dexterity ranger hero ( yes, people actually use those to great effect).
a spec of 8 points should do the trick.
Usually there is no need to disable it, but you might take something with you to remove spirits ( gaze of fury perhaps, disabled) just in case you face some form of unexpected spike ( massive AoE spike @ forgewind comes to mind)

It usually ends up on my Channelling rit. I drop Spawning Power to 9 (it wasn't doing much) and put on 9 Wilderness Survival.

As has been said, stick it on a bar that already has spirits. You barely even need any points in Wilderness to make it work,it'll just be quite squishy but it should be in range but well out of battle.
